Is your vehicle summer ready ?

• You should ensure your vehicle is maintained in a roadworthy condition and serviced every 10,000-15,000 km.
• Do you have a valid CVRT .... if your campervan weighs less than 3500kg it must undergo a LCV (light commercial vehicle) test. If it weighs more than 3500kg it requires a HCV( heavy commercial vehicle) test. 
• Check your tyres, oil & coolant, and electrics but to name a few.

 Summer months bring more bicycles, motorcycles, caravans, agricultural vehicles, visiting tourists and seasonal traffic causing congestion to our roads so plan extra time for your journeys! During school holidays, there are more children about, so extra vigilance is needed on journeys. 

Be prepared.... Consider carrying ; a first aid kit, high viz vests, Extra drinking water,a torch and a red warning triangle.

And finally enjoy your holidays on the road.
